Treasurer/CFO Nicole Marshall presented the District’s updated Five-Year Forecast to the Westerville City Schools Board of Education at Monday’s meeting, highlighting both current financial conditions and long-range projections through fiscal year 2029. 

Westerville Area Resource Ministry (W.A.R.M.) will provide meals to students through its Westerville Area Kids Summer Lunch Club, which runs weekdays from May 27 through August 8 at 11 sites. All sites are open sites to all children ages 1-18.

The Westerville City Schools Board of Education will convene in a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 19 at the District's Early Learning Center, 936 Eastwind Drive, in Westerville.

Third-grade students at Alcott Elementary performed an abbreviated version of The Wizard of Oz, demonstrated their soccer skills, played instruments, showcased their magic tricks, cheered as a Westerville Central High School cheerleader, drew pictures on demand, performed Irish dancing and more as part of the annual Third-Grade Talent Show.

Early in her career, Westerville City Schools Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Nicole Marshall spent seven years at the Ohio Auditor of State’s office working with school districts and other local governments in financial distress.

Kindergarten, first- and second-grade students at Alcott Elementary now have more options to choose from when they visit their playground for recess or music class.
